Iisaku is the centre of the Alutaguse area — a school, a museum, a church and public services, with private housing spread around them. The settlement has close to forty streets, which is a lot for this part of the country, and the buildings are of many periods. As is typical of Alutaguse, the distances between neighbouring villages are long, so we agree a time in advance and get everything done on one trip.
