Kuremäe is a small village known above all for the Pühtitsa convent, and its buildings are mainly private houses and accommodation for visitors. There are five streets. In a village with many visitors the typical problem is a key lost or carried away, which is solved by replacing the cylinder without touching the door. In the older buildings we always check first whether the lock can be kept.
